BayRadio visited the Preventorio children's home in Gandia to see the tumble dryer that was donated by the Bay Radio listeners. Needless to say it wasn't in operation during the summer months but it proved invaluable during the winter months as they have 53 children in their care.

The children, of all nationalities, are from a variety of background, orphans, broken homes or families that literally cannot afford to feed them in the current economic climate. Sister Amelia and Sister Carmen do a wonderful job giving their time, attention and love to help these children adjust. September could see an increase in the number of children in their care so the tumble dryer will be given plenty of use this coming winter.
Bay Radio would like to give a big thank you to all their listeners who helped with donations. On 24th September the children will be going to visit Terra Mitica for their annual outing.
