The football memorabilia charity auction on Bob and Noelle’s show on 31st July raised money for EMAUS children’s charity and to be used for educational purposes. Mike Oldfield came in with a stunning last minute bid of 1,000 euros for each item, a total of 3,000 euros and won all the items, he is a very generous man and didn’t want to keep any of the memorabilia so he asked that the next highest bidder on each item got them.
Aunty Carol had placed a bid of 500 Euros on the signed Liverpool Shirt and she paid her bid price plus a little more. The winners of the other items have donated the items back to EMAUS to use either to give to the children or to be used to generate further funds. So the charity has been the winner at the end of the day.
The Liverpool shirt was donated by the Costa Blanca Traders Association and the England match day shirt and the Champions league match day ball were donated by Graham Barber ex FIFA International referee. The final total for the day was approximately 3,660 Euros.
