MOFTAG Spring Fayre

Editorial for Moftag Spring Fayre – held Saturday 12^th May

Spring was in the air last Saturday 12^th May in the gardens of the Delfin Pub, Calpe.   Moftag (Mighty Oaks from Tiny Acorns Grow) held their Spring Fayre with a wonderful variety of homemade produce, fun games and a super Raffle with lots of prizes.

Two new additions this year were the beautiful quilted goods made by Molly and also the presence of Altea Medical Clinic who made sure that all the excitement didn’t push anyone’s blood pressure up too high!

This year is a very special one for Moftag as they celebrate their 40^th Anniversary so with spirits high the members were thrilled with the result of the Spring Fayre making €1500.   The funds all go to local charities for purchasing items needed for the Food Bank of Calpe, the Red Cross, Maite Boronat and Gargasindi School.
