Photography Festival

During the months of September and October,  the First Edition of The Photo

Festival “Ojos Rojos” will take place in Xábia/Jávea and other towns of the Marina Alta (Denia Gata and Pedreguer).

The idea of the Festival was born  out of the  recognition received by the Magazine “Ojos Rojos” (a Fine Art Photo Magazine dedicated to Spanish and Latin America artists). It intends to  bring together the quality of the Photographers  that were published in the Magazine and to give a broader  vision about the Photography that is made in Spain and Latin America.

The Festival  wishes to become  an annual experience and also a reference event for photography and culture in our country and Latin American countries .

Through out the Festival, both amateurs and professionals will be able to mingle. People will get the chance to discover first-hand the creative process of renowned photographers, discover new talents and fresh visions of new generations, also allowing us to get to know better what the Latin visual culture has to offer.

The Festival will consist of  exhibitions  but will also include, conferences,

round-table discussions, workshops, networking and discussions about the latest trends in

Photography, Visual Education and other subjects related to this Media.

Well known national and international photographers will attend this meeting, sharing  their experiences  with Local photographers and Photo Clubs as Well for non Professional people and normal citizens.
