Holiday companies have responded to the imposition of the quarantine

BayRadio | July 28, 2020

Holiday companies have responded to the imposition of the quarantine.

EasyJet said it would operate its full schedule of flights to Spain, but it is cancelling holidays to all Spanish destinations for the next few weeks.

Ryanair said its schedules “remain in place” and it will continue flights in and out of the country as normal.

But package holiday firm Tui cancelled all mainland Spanish holidays until 9 August.

And Jet2 said yesterday afternoon its flights to some holiday destinations in Spain and to Faro airport on Portugal’s Algarve are suspended.

The airline company said the areas of Spain affected are Almeria, Alicante, Malaga and Murcia and the suspension will last until mid-August.
