A lost loggerland turtle flies back to the Canaries with Ryanair

A loggerhead turtle that was blown thousands of miles off route and ended up in Ireland, has been flown from Cork Airport to Gran Canaria.

After three weeks of treatment and care by the Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium, the turtle was booked onto a Ryanair flight to the Canaries, where it will be returned to the wild.
