Banco Santander slapped with huge fine for mis-selling of products

BayRadio | April 12, 2018

Banco Santander has been handed a fine of €16.9 million by the Supreme Court in Madrid, over the mis-selling of one of its products.

The fines came after 130,000 customers reported decreases in their investments, in some cases nearly by half.

The bank received the fine for failing to warn customers to the risks of the product they were selling.
