3rd February
SCAN will be offering an evening of entertainment with John Curtis at the Terrace Bar in Jalon on 3rd February at 7.30 p.m. There will be a buffet 9.50 Euros and a raffle on the night.
APASA - QUIZ Bar Mediterraneo, Teulada. Teams of 6 or less, prizes for the winners and runners up. Three Course Meal inc. wine. €15. Almost fully booked so reserve quickly if you want a team!

11th February
Javea Feral Cats Association Rastro, 11am - 5pm. ISVH (Bomberos) Clubrooms-Calle Cap Negre, Balcon Al Mar (behind Casa Pepes Restaurant). All proceeds from fair to be donated to the Javea Feral Cats Association. Rastro, raffle, cake stall, books, coffee, hot dogs etc.
The aim is to reduce the number of kittens born to feral cats in the Javea area and to keep the feral cat population as healthy as possible. Cats are caught by Liz and June and taken to a vet to be sterilised. They receive no funding for their work and rely totally on donations. Feral cats and kittens that may make good house pets are put up for adoption. JFCA pay for spaying and injections at 6 months.
They have collection boxes in many shops but funds have recently dried up. They are hoping that this fair will enable them to continue their work and help control the numbers of feral cats.
St Valentine's Dinner & Dance with live music by the OK Band. 7pm for 7.30pm at Fillol's Salones, Pego 3 course meal including wine, beer, soft drinks with the meal and coffee. The London Boutique of Orba and Jalon will be holding a Charity Fashion Show at the El Cid Restaurant with the proceeds going to SCAN Pego. They will be modelling the new Spring fashions and there will be many other items half price.The doors will open at 12 noon, and the show will start at 1.p.m. Lunch is available. Entrance 1 Euro.

APASA - VALENTINES DINNER with music by Matt Curtis. 7.30pm for 8pm. Glass of cava on arrival, 3 course dinner €16. Organised by High Street Heaven, Boutique at The Inn on The Green Bowling Club, Javea. Proceeds will go to the building of new quarantine kennels at the Shelter.
