Over 4-weeks in June and July 2009, The Bay Radio Breakfast Show gave away 1000 Euros with Europa Networks.
Kal Sutherland teased listeners every morning with historical news clips for listeners to identify. And there were no clues!

Weekend in Paris with The Sportsman
In association with The Sportsman in Oliva, we ran a competition to win a weekend for two to Paris. The questions, which all had a sporting theme, went out on The Breakfast Show each day.
The first four correct phone calls every day went into a weekly draw, and each Friday two of the weekly draw winners went through to the Grand Prize Draw. On December 19th the Grand Prize Draw was held live on Air by Gary from The Sportsman. The eventual winner was Claire, from La Nucia!
Nostro Café Costa Competition - December 2008
Throughout December fantastic new coffee-shop Nostro Café Costa on the Jávea Arenal gave us a state of the art coffee machine to give away to on-air callers every day.

That’s exactly what two couples have now done… one couple in June 2008 and the other couple in August 2008… Two couples all shopped up!
Lazyboy Recliner - July 2008
Again in conjunction with Devygar… BayRadio held a competition on-air for one of the most comfortable reclining chairs you could ever wish to sit on (and yes, before we gave it away, we did all try it!!) in the form of a leather Lazyboy Recliner worth a massive 600€!! Imagine being able to sit back in that with a glass of wine and enjoying the Costa Blanca weather knowing that it was only a ’phone call away and hadn’t cost you a bean!!
Barbeque - June 2008
I don’t know if you’ve ever cooked on a Weber Barbeque but trust us when we say they are the crème de la crème of the barbeque experience and yes… BayRadio did it again…
Thanks to the help of Devygar on the Benitachelle Road, we gave away a Weber barbeque in an on-air competition. A lovely couple won it and we at BayRadio with them the happiest barbeques ever!
Christmas Ruby - December 2007
A lovely story this one… It was a competition BayRadio set up with Tiffany Jewellers in Jávea Port who made a pink ruby ring for us worth in excess of 600€
The lucky winner, Keith Phillips, then proposed to his girlfriend at Christmas with the very same ring… Awwww bless!
Dominican Holiday - September 2007
As part of the celebrations for BayRadio’s second birthday… We actually gave away an all-inclusive holiday to the Dominican Republic!! Ten days in a Five Star hotel worth 2,000€!

Fully Fitted Kitchen - August 2007
