IMF expects economic growth to hold at 2.8%

BayRadio | July 18, 2018

The International Monetary Fund has said that it will keep its economic growth forecasts for Spain at 2.8% for the rest of this year, and 2.2% for 2019, despite an expected slowdown across the Eurozone.

The latest figures come as the European Commission maintained it’s growth forecast for the country as well last week. The figures place Spain as the fastest growing economy of the four major economies in the single currency.

This is the first IMF forecast since the change in Government last month.
