Jihadist ring broken up

BayRadio | October 3, 2018

Police have broken up a jihadist ring operating in 17 jails across Spain.
The ring sought to unite inmates jailed for terrorist crimes in a so-called “Prison Front”.
Anti-terrorism authorities say the ring didn’t have a “concrete plan” to carry out an attack but created a “belligerent state of mind towards prison staff”.
Some of the members of the group were due to be released soon.
International studies show that prison radicalisation is a problem in various countries including Britain and the United States.
