October Preventorio Birthdays

Yesterday (29/10/2015) I visited the children’s home in Gandia with Julie Borthwick from the Baptist church in Javea with birthday cakes that they kindly bring each month and the presents sponsored by the Costa Blanca Business Association. I received a generous donation from Liz Brett and Simon Skudder which has helped to make sure all the birthday children receive a gift.

The Lady Elizabeth Junior School had a fund raising day and raised just over €400 for the children at the Preventorio and this will help go towards the next event “The Annual Christmas Party ” Thank you so much each and every one of you.!!

I can’t believe how quickly the year has gone !! From desperately looking for sponsors for the birthday presents to now finding it’s Halloween and nearly November.

There were five birthdays and by now they know we are coming so there’s lots of anticipation. As much as its lovely to be giving it’s also sad to see new faces and the numbers rising.

We are now preparing for the Annual Christmas party, which once again is at CD Javea football ground, and already have lots of volunteers. Hopefully Santa Claus will be generous and make many children smile.

I will keep you all informed through November but please save the day Tuesday 15th of December.
