Ryanair confirms 432 redundancies in Spain

Ryanair has confirmed that it will lay off 432 people here in Spain as a result of the closure of its Tenerife Sur, Gran Canaria, Girona and Lanzarote bases.

Of these, 327 will be cabin crew and 105 are pilots, unions are meeting with the company to negotiate a redundancy plan.

The process will start in January, when the bases are scheduled to close, Ryanair moves most passengers in Spain, especially in the Canary islands.
