Stagestruck Theatre Group’s Summer show- ‘Just Another Week in Paradise’

Rehearsals are in full swing for Stagestruck Theatre Group’s Summer show to be performed on Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th and Friday 27th May at the Cardenal Belluga Theatre in San Fulgencio. ‘Just Another Week in Paradise’ is an original script written by Stagestruck’s director Leigh Humphries. It is a musical comedy that will have you laughing out loud in between moments of pathos as the guests and staff reveal the highs and lows of their lives. The story focuses on Georgia, the owner of the Hotel Paradise on the Costa Blanca. The hotel is failing because Georgia is not managing to fill her rooms but help comes unexpectedly when a local, large, commercial hotel overbook due to an administration error. Georgia agrees to take the overbooked guests who turn out to be a little more demanding than the usual Hotel Paradise guests. The fun starts when the guests are thrown together in a small hotel for a week, with hilarious consequences. Shaz, the cheapandcheerfulholiday.com rep receives a number of complaints from the overbooked guests about the lack of entertainment. With no money to pay for professional entertainment, an evening of entertainment involving the guests is planned and the show concludes with a not to be missed ‘End of the Show Show’ (Eat your hearts out Ant and Dec!)

In addition to a great night out, the proceeds from ticket sales are donated to local charities including the Alzheimer’s Association. From our last show, we were able to donate 4000 euros to charity and with your help, we would like to achieve that again.
