THE MEMORY of Valencia residents who fought against fascism has been upheld by regional president Ximo Puig.

Sr Puig accompanied justice councillor Gabriela Bravo to commemorate the 73^rdanniversary of the liberation of Mauthausen concentration camp where many Spaniards were interned.
