Prime minister will not present evidence on thesis to Senate

BayRadio | October 10, 2018

Prime minister Pedro Sanchez has said that he will not present details of his doctorate thesis to the Senate as he says there is no legal precedent to agree to the request of opposition parties.

He did however go on to say that he would take questions from fellow members in the lower house. During the same statement he also announced that an agreement on the state budget is imminent, and that the budget is expected to be presented at the start of next week.

Mr Sanchez made the announcement shortly after meeting Chilean president Sebastián Piñera.
