Changes to homeopathic treatment regulations

The Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products, along with the Ministry of Health has ordered the removal of thousands of homeopathic treatments that don’t meet new standards, from the market.
In total, just under 2,000 products have been marked for removal, after producers failed to be submitted for approval by the Ministry.
It’s expected that remedies that meet the regulations will be authorised in the coming months, and will subsequently return to the market.
