Xabia Aguiles Rugby with Raquel Paya, a special needs school in Denia

Xabia Aguiles Rugby will be leading a rugby taster lesson to pupils of the school Raquel Paya, a special needs school in Denia on Thursday 28th of Feb.

Daniel Wolff, President of Xabia Rugby is keen to show how the values of respect, team work and sportsmanship can be valued by children of all abilities and disabilities.

Daniel has already worked with Down Syndrome charities in Valencia and believes that Rugby is a great vehicle for all children to keep fit, work in a team and have fun!  This is one of many sessions led by Xabia Aguiles Rugby in the community. They already go into schools and deliver Rugby in the PE lessons to spread the rugby gospel!

Want to get involved? Xabia Aguiles Rugby are looking for boys and girls from 6 to 12 and they train every Friday at 6pm in the Mexquida Astroturf pitch – that´s the one next to the river, near the port.  They are growing quickly, so they also need Rugby coaches! come and help!  For more information just Google Xabia Rugby or call Daniel on 633343503.
