Joana Sainz Garcia Tragically Dies

A Spanish singer and dancer’s been killed after she was hit by a pyrotechnic device during a live performance.
Joana Sainz Garcia was performing with the Super Hollywood Orchestra in front of 1000 spectators at a festival near Madrid when the pyrotechnic cartridge exploded into her stomach – causing fatal injuries.
The performance was stopped after the accident just before 2am local time yesterday, and she was immediately treated by paramedics as well as a doctor and a nurse who were in the crowd.
The 30 year old who was from Santander, was reportedly the group’s principal dancer and their lead choreographer.
