BayRadio | October 30, 2019

More than 200 migrants arrived at Costa Blanca ports and beaches in just 24 hours this week.

Most landed at Alicante, Torrevieja and Guardamar with more arriving further north at Benidorm, Teulada-Moraira and Benitatchell.

The Red Cross, Guardia Civil, Maritime Rescue and Police were mobilised to deal with the latest influx and worked round the clock to help rescue and process the mainly Algerian arrivals.

Emergency services also recovered the decomposing body of a migrant off the coast of Cartagena.
