Tourism booming with big spending Brits

The Costa Blanca welcomed 6 million tourists up to the end of October, an increase of 3.4 per cent over the same period last year.

This is out of a total of 74.7 million international tourists visiting Spain, with the UK once again top when it comes to spending.

Brits accounted for 19.9 per cent of total expenditure or €16.3 billion in the first 10 months of the year.
