Spain’s new Cabinet is sworn in before King Felipe VI

The four deputy prime ministers and 18 cabinet members in Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s new government were sworn in yesterday before King Felipe VI at the Zarzuela Palace.

The monarch congratulated the MPs and wished them luck, their first meeting is due to take place today.

The new government is made up of a coalition of Sánchez’s Socialist PSOE Party and the leftist Unidas Podemos.
