BayRadio | February 4, 2020

Spaniards repatriated from the Wuhan area of China are in quarantine in Madrid, where they are said to be ‘very content’ and have been receiving supplies from their families.

Around 20 Spanish nationals were brought home upon seeking help from the embassy following the Coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, and were placed straight into quarantine at a hospital in Madrid.

Safety procedures are rigorous, and during the 20 days they are in isolation, they are only allowed one visit a day for 20 minutes, and always the same person in full protective clothing.
