Thousands of visually impaired people have been left exposed to COVID-19 because of flaws in Spain’s official tracking app, it has been claimed.

RadarCOVID, which was launched at the end of June, is not accessible on an iPhone to people with sight problems.

The latest numbers released by the Spanish Health Ministry for people who have tested positive for Covid-19 is now 534,513. 

This is an overall increase of 8,964 against the figure released on Monday, although the ministry says 3,168 of the infections occurred in the previous 24 hours.
