Galicia will remain closed this Christmas and no one will be able to enter without a justified reason, although family visits are allowed. The community calls for family reunions to be one family unit only.

The Christmas plan in Galicia recommends that meetings at Christmas celebrations consist only of “one family unit” on all holidays.

This is what the Health Councillor, Julio García Comesaña, has detailed this Wednesday, after the meeting of the clinical committee that advises the Galician government, it was recommended that the celebrations be carried out with a single “bubble of cohabitants”, with the exception of “incorporating someone else to this celebration” in the cases of elderly people living alone.

In the event that this maximum of two family bubbles has to be “broken”, the committee establishes a maximum of six people, children under the age of ten will not be counted.
