Covid infection numbers tumble

CORONAVIRUS infections fell to 54 across the Valencia region – the lowest in Spain according to the latest statistics released by the Ministry of Health.

The new cases, all confirmed by PCR or antigen test, confirms four new cases in the province of Castellón, 12 in Alicante, and 38 across the province of Valencia.

President of the Valencia regional government, Ximo Puig has confirmed that 94% of the municipalities ended the week with an incidence rate of less than 25 cases per 100,000 people, the lowest risk level of the disease.
