HOLIDAY giant TUI has cancelled more holiday flights as the UK government pushes back ‘Freedom Day’ and increases uncertainty over travel abroad.

The tour operator has already scrapped a number of getaways to favourite
destinations and has now put further trips on hold until next month.

In a statement: “We want to offer our customers flexibility and choice this summer, so where borders are open and FCDO advice allows travel, we will operate to those destinations as planned.

“We are constantly reviewing our holiday programme and cancellations in line with the government updates every three weeks, with the next update expected on June 24. All customers will be contacted as soon as possible if there is any change to their booking.”

Customer will be contacted directly by TUI. They will be able to request a refund or change dates or destinations as travel advice from the government unfolds.
