Covid: mass vaccination of young people starts
Valencia has 105,000 doses ready
MASS vaccination of 20 to 29-year-old people has started across the Valencia region, giving jabs to the vulnerable group most affected by the fifth wave of Covid-19.
Health chiefs have reserved 105,000 shots – a third of the vaccines received this week – to immunise young people.
Vaccinations of the group started in rural areas but mass vaccination centres opened in Alicante and Castellón on Tuesday and in Valencia’s City of Arts and sciences yesterday.
