Eviction of 37 people who were in the Cova Tallada despite the restriction of access to the Montgó Natural Park

Agents of the Dénia Local Police proceeded yesterday Sunday to evict 37 people who were in the Cova Tallada, in the natural park of Montgó and its marine reserve,that were there despite the restrictions of access to it on the occasion of the heat wave.

According to local police sources, 30 of these people had arrived at the cave by sea, and another 7 had arrived on the path. The agents reported the events to the Montgó Natural Park watchman.

During the day of yesterday, in addition to the incident at the Cova Tallada, the Local Police had 5 surveillance drones coveringdifferent points of the natural park of Montgó (2 from the shooting range; 2 on the hill of Jesus Pobre; and 1 in the area of Galeretes).
