Collection Campaign Ukraine in Jávea

The Municipality of Xàbia joins the campaign of collection of emergency material for the Ukrainian people organized by the Generalitat and the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.

The collection will begin on Wednesday, March 9 and, initially, will last until March 18. The collection is centralized in the Casal Foguerer (located on a ground floor in the Constitution Square) and will be coordinated by the volunteers from Xàbia Civil Protection. The Local Police will also collaborate with a mailbox in case it is impossible for someone to make the donation at the official collection point.

In order to make Xàbia’s aid as useful as possible, we have chosen to focus it on products whose reception is of extreme need: hygiene and sanitary equipment, especially first aid.

We ask for maximum collaboration with the public in this humanitarian aid action and compliance with the requirements: that they be unopened packaging and in the case of hygiene, in small format packaging to facilitate its distribution.

No other materials (neither textiles nor food) will be collected as we are informed that, currently, the demand is sufficiently covered.
