Russia will not stop the offensive in Ukraine during the negotiations. The Russian Foreign Minister said so today. According to Sergei Lavrov, the objective of the Russian invasion of Ukraine is to end the “domination” of the United States and other countries of the West.

“During the first round of talks, President Vladimir Putin ordered a suspension of military action. As the Ukrainians did not stop, the decision was made that during the next rounds of talks, there would be no pause until a final agreement is signed,” Lavrov acknowledged.

Faced with this situation, from Kiev they have announced that the coming days will be tense, mainly in the Donbas area. In this context, the president of Ukraine, Volodymir Zelenski, has asked citizens to prepare for “even greater operations in the east” after the capture of the port of Mariúpol.

In the port city, Mayor Vadim Boichenko has acknowledged that at least 10,000 civilians have died since the invasion began: “The streets are carpets of corpses,” he lamented.

The president of the Russian State Duma has proposed today to withdraw the nationality of the “traitors” who oppose the offensive in Ukraine. “The vast majority of our fellow citizens support the special military operation in Ukraine, understand its necessity for the security of our country and our nation. But there are also those who behave with cowardice, as traitors. Unfortunately, there is no process to remove the nationality of these citizens of the Russian Federation and to prohibit them from entering our country. But perhaps that would be good”, said the president of the lower house of Parliament, Viacheslav Volodin.

Meanwhile, the European Union continues to design new sanctions packages against Russia: “Ukrainians fear a huge offensive in the Donbas region. They prepare and we help them, that is not a secret”, stressed Josep Borrell.
