A tourist dies in Mallorca by jumping off a cliff and hitting the rocks

A 31-year-old Dutch tourist dies in Mallorca when he jumps off a cliff and hits the rocks just before falling into the water.

The images that appear in a video contains sensitive content and that is why we will not share it. Another tourist has also died in Magaluf doing ‘balconing’ when falling from a seventh floor.

The incident occurred on the islets of the Malgrats Islands, in Calvià, as reported by the Urgent Medical Care Service. When a woman and her son were in a boat there, they witnessed the accident and told the emergency services what had happened.

The Special Group of Underwater Activities (GEAS) of the Guardia Civil found the body of the Dutch tourist on the seabed, as confirmed from the armed institute.

In addition to the GEAS, the Helimer 206 helicopter, based in Son Sant Joan, the boat Salvamar Libertas, based in Portals Nous, and the maritime service of the Guardia Civil have participated in the search for the body.
