The Minister of Tourism, Reyes Maroto, announces that in the “coming days”, Spain will not require the covid certificate for tourists from outside the EU.

After eliminating the obligation to use masks indoors Spain will stop asking for the covid passport from tourists from outside the European Union (EU) “in a matter of days”.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism has announced that tourists wishing to travel to Spain from outside the EU will be able to access the country with a negative test.

“It will be a matter of days that we will eliminate a restriction that could be discouraging tourists from outside the European Union to visit us and that is that we will stop requiring the vaccination certificate to allow them to enter also with negative test”explained Maroto.

Some countries of the European Union continue to request the covid passport to enter the country, however, others are relaxing the restrictions by the covid-19 and stop demanding them.
