The new HCB Dénia hospital begins its journey

The Hospital opened last week with outpatient services and medical specialties, Laboratory, Radiodiagnostic and Emergency Service 24H

The new HCB Dénia Hospital of the group HCB Hospitals started its activity on Thursday, July 7 offering external consultations with the best specialists of the Marina, the area of radiodiagnosis and the 24HS Emergency Service.

The entire Directorate of HCB Hospitals organized a welcoming event for all the team of HCB Dénia consisting of medical, sanitary, administrative, admissions, call center and interpreters, pharmacy, laboratory, operating room, cleaning, maintenance, computer, technical, cafeteria and kitchen and public relations.

The Director General of HCB Hospitals, Dr. Ana Paz Brown, congratulated the whole team for the great work done “to make reality of this project in which each and every one of you are now the protagonists and I am sure that you will put at the service of patients all your affection and good professional work.”

All the teams started with enthusiasm this new project that starts with a very clear premise: apply in the day to day the standards of Quality Care and Patient Safety that govern in Hospital HCB Benidorm, know how and how to work for which a year ago obtained the most prestigious health accreditation in the world, the Joint Commission International (JCI).

The HCB Dénia Hospital plans to open in phases to guarantee the quality of each care circuit: in this first stage the services of outpatient consultations and medical specialties are offered, including the Laboratory and Radiodiagnostic service, as well as carrying out various diagnostic tests; in addition, the Emergency Service is open 24 hours.

The opening plan of the HCB Denia Hospital contemplates a more advanced phase in which the entire surgical block and the Intensive Care Unit will be opened, which will lead to the expansion of the use of Hospitalization.

The first patients arrived throughout the morning and afternoon to the first specialists who had premiered the Hospital of Denia: Dermatology, Cardiology and Pediatrics. In the following days the various medical specialists will be incorporated and schedules and services will be expanded.
