A female body is found in the trunk of a car in Villanueva de la Serena, Badajoz.

The authorities found the dead woman’s body late this Thursday. They were alerted to the strong smell in the car.

The police, who were alerted by the strong smell of a car parked next to the municipal pool of Villanueva de la Serena (Badajoz), found the body of a woman inside a trunk of a car. Although the body was found late this Thursday, the vehicle could have been parked there for a few days.

Members of the National Police and the Local Police travelled to the scene and, once the body was recovered, the body was transferred to the Forensic Anatomical Institute in Badajoz for autopsy. The causes of the incident are still unknown.
