A fight between 12-year-olds ends with a father shooting at the home of one of the minors in Alicante

A 47-year-old man showed up at the home of a minor with a shotgun and made threats in the neighbourhood of Elda, in Alicante. The individual fired two shots in the air. The incident dates back to a fight between two 12-year-old boys and after the altercation, the father showed up at the home of the boy who fought with his son. He’s finally been arrested.

It all happened around 6:00 last Monday. Neighbors in the area reported a shooting, according to the ‘La Informacion’ media. Members of three National Police forces went to the area to arrest the individual for firing the shots.

The police didn’t find the gun or the cartridges, they suspect that whoever accompanied the father fled with the shotgun. Finally, after the investigations, the weapon was found in the house of the man arrested.

On the 21st of July there was another shooting in Alicante. On this occasion the shots left one wounded and seven arrested. A man was shot several times and injured in the foot. It occurred in the vicinity of the Poet Vicente Medina passage in Alicante.

The Alicante National Police received several calls during the afternoon alleging that shots had been heard that appeared to come from a firearm in the northern area of the city.

The National Police went to the site of the altercation where they collected the first data of the incident and inspected the injury in the foot that the wounded man received.
