Drunk Driver Arrested after Being Three Times Over the Legal Limit, but Claims He only ‘Drank Gazpacho’

The driver didn’t have a driving licence and almost tripled the rate of alcohol permitted, although the man claims that he only drank gazpacho.

A man is denounced for driving without a license and almost tripling the rate of alcohol permitted. The local police of Castilleja de la Cuesta, in Seville, have denounced it. The man assured the officers that he had only drunk gazpacho.

The driver was intercepted when local police officers in Castilleja de la Cuesta noticed that the vehicle was moving irregularly. When the police caught up with him, they noticed the signs of having ingested a large amount of alcohol. They claim “He can’t even speak properly or stand up straight on his own” claimed the police officer at the scene.

“The driver has been investigated for alleged crimes against Road Safety (Positive Breathalyzer and Loss of validity of the driving licence). He claimed to have only drank “gazpacho” and that he had not drunk anything else, after almost tripling the legal rate allowed,” tweets the Castilleja Police.

The vehicle was seized when the driver was found not to have a driving licence. He is facing a crime against traffic safety.
