The two hooded men fled on foot after taking about 400 euros worth at the gas station in Granada.

Two hooded men have robbed a gas station in the Granada town of Maracena. It was on Sunday about eight in the afternoon when the robbers entered and after threatening the saleswoman with a gun and a knife they got between 300 and 400 euros. It happened in just a minute when there was no customers at this petrol station that is in an industrial estate.

The two robbers escaped on foot although there are suspicions that a third person was waiting nearby inside a car. The employee of the gas station, who took a big scare, along with the images of the security cameras are some of the evidence available to the Guardia Civil that has taken over the investigation.

At the moment even though the area was filled with police, there is no trace of the two robbers who at that time were dressed in black and wore gloves so as not to leave fingerprints.

At first, due to the small amount of money obtained, the investigators thought of the possibility that the two assailants would try to rob another gas station that night, but no robbery was recorded.
