Scientists from Spain are working with Texas State University on developing a Coronavirus vaccination. A team from the Farming and Food Technology and Research Institute's Animal Health Centre in Bellaterra in Barcelona province are attempting to recreate the deadly virus that originated in Wuhan, China to test the new vaccine. Spain’s National Centre for Microbiology has confirmed the first case of coronavirus in a man quarantined on the remote island of La Gomera in the Canaries. He was one of five people taken into observation on the island after it was found they had come into contact, before travelling to the Canaries, with a German man who was diagnosed with the virus.
