11-year-old boy blackmailed into hurting himself by Instagram hacker linked to blue whale challenge

Rocky and mum Victoria are now spending 50 days raising awareness about the dangers of social media – especially how hackers trick children into handing over personal details.

They are warning children:

-NOT to click on any hyperlinks from strangers
-NOT to accept messages from people you don’t know
-Make your social media accounts private
-Monitor young children using the internet
-Check your children for signs of cyber bullying
