BayRadio | September 21, 2020

The Valencian Community has approved 70% discounts for holidays enjoyed in the region this winter – up to a maximum of €600.

The Bono Viaje CV scheme is open to anyone registered on a municipal padrón in the Valencian Community – which comprises the provinces of Castellón, Valencia and Alicante (Benidorm).

The scheme is costing the Generalitat €14.3 million, and will become live from 20th October.

The only requirements are to be above age, on a padrón and possess a firma electrónica.

From 20th October, you can fill out a special form here – or you can ask your tourist accommodation or travel agency to fill out the form on your behalf.

The discounts will be available for three different holiday periods:

  • 20th October to 31st December 2020.
  • 1st January to 24th March 2021.
  • 13th October to 31st December 2021.

“Such a fundamental sector for our economy and our jobs needs a shock plan to reactivate it,” Ximo Puig, president of the Valencian Community said.

To sign up to the scheme, visit bonoviaje.gva.es. HOWEVER, the scheme will only become live on 20th October.
