The Welsh Assembly has joined the Scottish Parliament and the Northern Ireland Assembly in rejecting the Brexit bill. Spain’s coalition government have announced a plan to give civil servants a two percent pay raise backdated to Jan. 1. Regional Policy Minister Carolina Darias said the pay hike, which unions had requested prior to the announcement of PSOE Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s cabinet, will be introduced as soon as possible. The measure will benefit 2.5 million public sector workers.
