Spain's economy minister says Spanish GDP has been growing at a rate of more than 10% so far in the third quarter following a record drop in the preceding quarter due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Health Minister Salvador Illa says Spain has authorised its first ‘Phase Two’ clinical trial of a Covid-19 vaccine. Illa said that Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, owned by Johnson & Johnson, will hold the second phase of their vaccine in Spain, Belgium and Germany. Jet2 has cancelled all flights to the Balearic Islands this summer. And it has extended the suspension of package holidays and flights to mainland Spain and the Canaries until September 13.
